Moghesan History
Recorded history on Moghes has been rife with war and tension as two cousin sapient species have attempted to survive alongside one another with mixed results. Only time will tell if the Sinta'Unathi and Yeosa'Unathi will be doomed to follow their ancestors' footsteps, or if they may be able to break the cycle and thrive on an interstellar scale.

Clan Skarathk discovers an ancient bunker believed to be thousands of years old, though it is difficult to determine when exactly it was built. Archaeologists are unable to decipher the writing. The bunker is widely believed to be unopenable. This discovery would be recorded in history as the Skarathk Door, though it is unknown what - if anything - lies behind it.

Olono Gonzol Kotakoskin invents the first motorized boat.
2062 C.E.
Minor Sinta’Unathi clans unite to form the first major power, the Northern Union, headed by Clan Skarathk. The Northern Union, notably, includes several Yeosa’Unathi clans along the shore of the Moghesan Sea - the most influential being Clan Aogalar, who are given credit for uniting the Yeosan clans under the Union’s banner, and acting as the middlemen between the Sinta and their Yeosa brethren.
2067 C.E.
The first car was invented by Kssith Azktsn, based on Yeosan boat designs.
22nd Century C.E.
2126 C.E.
The Northern Union breaks out in a civil war after Arz Krsenthal - an already wildly popular clan leader - is caught cheating in the elections to determine the new leader of the Union, taking the office from Ksrk Orozor. Clan Aogalar uses this as an opportunity to make a grab for power, quickly becoming a threatening force almost rivaling Orozor’s own.
2135 C.E.
The Northern Union collapses due to infighting after being unable to determine whether Clan Aogalar, Clan Krsenthal, or Clan Orozor should lead. Clan Orozor falls as their leadership is wiped out in the civil war. Clan Aogalar and the other Northern Union Yeosa’Unathi clans form the Coastal Union.
2142 C.E.
Arz Krsenthal is executed by Clan Aogalar by the order of Orgoth Gazana Aogalar, the leader of Clan Aogalar, for treason. Debate rises on whether or not the Coastal Union is truly the Northern Union, with a majority of Yeosa arguing for and a majority of Sinta arguing against.
2145 C.E.
Former Sinta’Unathi clans grow distrustful of the Coastal Union due to their influence along the shorelines, their opinions already soured by their continued insistence that they are the true continuation of the Northern Union. Word spreads to southern Moghes, and discrimination against the Yeosa’Unathi starts to become a noticeable issue. Clan Izweski forges alliances with two smaller clans, offering protection in exchange for resources.
2157 C.E.
A large, heavily damaged metal tube of unknown origin is found in the middle of the Rorsk Desert on the equator. There is minimal writing on it, including two symbols that had been seen on the previously discovered bunker. The purpose of the structure is unknown, though it is believed to be around the same age as the Skarathk Door. Clan Arzrak, under the rule of Zrrn Arzak, opens up the area to tourists and makes significant profits in the process.
2164 C.E.
The Coastal Union spreads as they reach out to more Yeosa’Unathi clans, offering strong alliances as their Sinta neighbors grow distrustful of them. The distrust from the Sinta only furthers the Yeosan unification. Clan Arzak begins work on a desert resort to capitalize off of their influx of tourism - Sinta from around the globe come to the Zrrn to bask in the heat and see the Rorsk Shell.
2168 C.E.
Clan Izweski’s vassal clans, thriving under their rule, encourage others to join - they take on two more vassals in exchange for protection from the Coastal Union. Rampant anti-Yeosa propaganda begins to spread in the swamplands, forcing those outside of the Coastal Union to retreat there for safety. The Zrrn Summer Stones open to the public as a luxury resort for tourists, causing the Zrrn clan to become a particularly well-known name across the globe.
2172 C.E.
Budding tensions between the Izweski Hegemony and the Coastal Union cause the Yeosa’Unathi to pick up more isolationist policies, hiking import taxes. What few Sinta residents the Coastal Union has are taxed heavier than their Yeosan neighbors, only worsening the situation between the Hegemony and the Union as both species begin to abuse their neighbor. Clan Zrrn's influence spreads to local clans, who attempt to make their own resorts as well.
2175 C.E.
Clan Skarathk reaches out to other former Northern Union clans. Clan chief Zork Skarathk becomes famous for his diplomacy, and the Northern Republic is widely seen among the Sinta as the beginnings of a new Northern Union. These claims draw criticism from many residents of the Coastal Union, who had already seen their nation as such. With their influence dying out as neighboring clans begin to compete, the new Zrrn leader - Krro Zrrn - has spies sabotage a neighboring resort. Their main competition, Sun-Peak Stones, is shut down after the outbreak of a disease is traced back to their food. Ultimately, this only harms the desert economy.
2176 C.E.
The Coastal Union expands, absorbing two Sinta’Unathi clans alongside a river in the process - discrimination within Coastal Union borders due to their history with the Northern Union severely harms their quality of living by increasing living expenses while almost eliminating their personal income.
2180 C.E.
Hegemon Iromonos Izweski calls out the Coastal Union for its poor treatment of Sinta’Unathi residents and begins a military campaign to liberate southern territories along the Moghesan Sea. Clan Zrrn uses the profits from the Zrrn Summer Stones to purchase the Sun-Peak Stones.
